A unique opportunity for divers visiting the Riviera Maya

The Riviera May, located along the coast of the Mexican Caribbean south of Cancun, is home to a diverse diving haven unlike other diving locations in the world.

The Riviera Maya includes the cities of Playa Del Carmen, Tulum, Puerto Morelos and Cozumel.  All of these destinations are located on the MesoAmerican Reef , the second largest Barrier Reef in the world.

The Riviera Maya Dive Alliance is a
unique group of dive centers who have combined their expertise and resources as colleagues and friends to offer dive services and events to scuba divers world wide.  Abyss Dive Center, Tank- Ha Dive Center and Protec Dive Center have been diving as friends for over 13 years and hosting scuba divers in their businesses for over 12 years.

The combined expertise and resources of the new Riviera Maya Dive Alliance makes it easier and more fun for divers who choose the Riviera Maya as their next diving holiday location.  Each dive center has a specific expertise that they offer divers, and work together to ensure divers maximize their diving vacation.

Diving is a communal sport and having a communal diving portal to access all the diving options in the Riviera Maya makes for more fun, more diversity and more learning opportunities for divers.  All the dive centers believe that safety comes first, that diving is a progressive sport that is nurtured through experience and knowledge.  All Centers employ multi-lingual dive instructors who are patient and thoughtful.  The staff will assist in getting you where you want to be as a diver, and nurture you through the process of determining your goals.

The Riviera Maya is fortunate to be host to reef diving, cenote (say no tay) and cave diving, the only place in the world that offers within a small distance of 45 minutes, a diversity of diving locations that show you the depths of the ocean and the depths of the earth.  For us it is heaven, for our divers it is a great way to spend your diving time and experience some of the easiest or some of the most challenging dives you have had in your life.  The diversity of the area inherently caters to a diversity of dive skills, leaving the diver with a feeling of accomplishment or just a feeling of diving happiness.
